An optional additional donation with your order is also available but you can rest assured that even if you don't choose this we will be planting a Tree for you nevertheless.

An artists rendition of the somewhat well known "Ekuna Syenta", or "Tree of Life" from the fantastic alien artefact "The Galactic Index of Recognised Flora and Fauna, Discernible Universe Edition"

The Ekuna Syenta is located in the marshlands of Vargon 79 and roughly translates to "The Tree of Life". The Ekuna Syenta is a large fungal mass that has grow into a large tree like creature. The inhabitants of Vargon 79's marshlands worship this "tree" and believe it is a God and protector of their planet.
The story according to Vargonian marsh folk is that a being from space landed on their planet and planted a single seed into the ground of the marshlands, which was once a barren desert. The space being then performed a ritual of some kind and fell unconscious on top of the newly planted seed. The seed then sprouted and absorbed the being. Once the being was fully absorbed by the seed it began to grow larger in size until it evolved into the mass of mushrooms and living fungus that is there today. The moisture and rich air created by this mass helped cultivate the barren lands into the rich marshland that now occupies over 70% of Vargon 79.
The Vargonian marsh folk believe the life form is the origin of all life on their planet and that they are all connected to Ekuna Syenta through a large, shared global consciousness. Vargonians have experienced shared dreams and thoughts due to this connection and believe that once their physical body dies and is laid to rest, they return to the ground from which they came, rejoining the mass consciousness in it's purest form.

Style like no other

An original abstract design I made using traditional materials during the COVID-19 pandemic. I really started to be intrigued with the abstract side of the art world and decided to start drawing these detailed pen and paper drawings. The Tree of Life is a drawing I was planning to do for some time before I started. I had a picture in my head for what I wanted this giant fungal tree to look like and how the world around it would feel. I really enjoyed creating this one and studying all the real life reference images of fungus and mushrooms that do exist was fascinating.

Semi-Hardwood, Fully Sustainable Frame

The frames we use are made from Alder. Alder is abundant and sustainable. As opposed to more exotic timbers, alder is not endangered, making it a great eco-friendly choice. Alder also has a fantastic reputation for machining and wood turning making it a very useful material for furniture and picture frames. Hanging hardware is included too!
